Before the Games
This project proposes a conceptual storytelling system, not a definitive Indigenous narrative. It's culutral direction, choreography, symbolism and final story would require collaboration with the Indigenous communities and knowledge holders represented. The concept establishes the creative framework; Authorship would ultimately become collaborative through extensive consultation.
Every place has a story before the Games begin.
Concept Adaptability
Before the Games is designed to extend beyond a single image.
The storytelling system could adapt across broadcast, ceremonies, outdoor advertising, digital media, and experiential spaces, while allowing each execution to be shaped by the Indigenous communities & traditions of the host land.
